North America appoints new leader for earthquake initiative

Howden-owned Dual North America has appointed Stephanie Calmeyn as the new executive vice president and head of earthquake operations, effective January 1, 2027. She succeeds Ian Fitt, who is retiring at the end of the year after leading the earthquake business since 1998. Calmeyn previously served as senior vice president and capacity manager. Dual’s earthquake program offers extensive coverage options, including primary and layered policies with limits up to $100 million for select risks, encompassing earthquake, earth movement, and associated water damage. Flood coverage is also available in California, Washington, and Oregon.
