Japan has launched a campaign to support the tourism industry in Kyushu, following a major earthquake in July. Starting Tuesday, discounted reservations for travel and hotel stays in Kumamoto and Nagasaki are available, with discounts reaching 60% in Kumamoto and Kagoshima, and 50% in other areas. The campaign eventually aims to cover all seven prefectures in Kyushu, although reservations for the five remaining prefectures will start at a later date.
