All lanes of northbound I-205 cleared near NE Airport Way following blaze from accident.

Traffic on the northbound side of Interstate 205 in Portland has resumed after hours of closure due to a serious single-car crash. The incident occurred near NE Airport Way shortly after noon, resulting in the car rolling and catching fire. Portland Fire and Rescue crews arrived to find one person trapped in the vehicle. They successfully extricated the driver, who was subsequently taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
