Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society Adoption Success
August was a remarkable month at the Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society’s Adoption Center, with 94 dogs and cats finding loving homes. Thanks to your support, these animals will now experience a life free from pain and mistreatment.
Fundraising and Community Support
This week, supporters received our annual “Fall 4 Paws” fundraiser letter, showcasing the animals saved with community help. We encourage you to make a donation to assist the many homeless pets relying on us. You can donate:
- By Mail: Send checks to Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society, P.O. Box 792, Greeneville, TN 37744.
- Online: Visit gchumanesociety.com.
- In Person: Drop by our Adoption Center at 400 N Rufe Taylor Road or call (423) 639-4771, Tuesday through Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM.
Current Needs
We are particularly in need of:
- Clumping and non-clumping cat litter
- Pedigree or Purina dry or canned puppy food
- Fancy Feast canned kitten food
With an influx of kittens and puppies, our supply is running low. Any donations, whether food or monetary, will significantly aid in their care.
Recycling Program
Our aluminum can recycling program is thriving! We welcome your aluminum cans at our recycling bin. If you visit when we’re closed, feel free to leave your cans at the gate. Proceeds from this program support our shelter animals.
