Baltimore Main Streets Unveils Updated Business Directory on Its Website

Baltimore Main Streets Launches New Website Featuring 900 Small Businesses

BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Main Streets program has unveiled a newly designed website aimed at enhancing support for local communities. This new platform offers a comprehensive resource hub, including a business directory, events calendar, and community photos, providing a more cohesive experience compared to the previous site, which only linked to individual main street communities.

“This is an example of the Baltimore Main Streets program strengthening our local Main Street Communities with strategic marketing support,” said Christopher Lundy, director of the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Small and Minority Business Advocacy and Development.

The business directory includes over 900 small local businesses from the program’s nine Main Street communities, allowing residents and visitors to access vital information about community events and local enterprises.

“Baltimore Main Streets has always focused on supporting the vitality of small businesses,” noted Khadeeja Muhammad, project engagement manager for SMBA&D. “By combining technology with storytelling, we’ve created not just a resource but a foundation for greater connection, collaboration, and growth across our Main Streets.”

The new site embodies Main Street America’s approach, emphasizing economic vitality, design, promotion, and organization to foster sustainable community development.
