Mobile Workforce Development: LABI Aims to Introduce Arkansas Program to Louisiana

The Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) is looking to implement the Be Pro Be Proud workforce development initiative, originally from Arkansas, in Louisiana. A key feature of this program is a traveling mobile workshop that aims to expose students to high-wage, high-demand careers such as welding, trucking, and heavy equipment operation. Recently, LABI conducted a test of this concept in West Louisiana.
