Five high school students from Bedford County have turned a classroom project into a thriving business, launching their luxury fragrance and clothing brand, Vivarenza. This weekend marks the debut of their first product line, featuring seven unique fragrances, at the Bedford Fall Foliage Festival.
Student entrepreneur Harrison Leap shares, “We’ve always had an entrepreneurial mind and wanted to make this happen.” His classmate Elijah Lohr adds that running a business together has been incredibly fun, enhancing the experience of entrepreneurship.
The students faced the challenge of refining their initial 20 fragrance ideas down to the seven they’ll present, with each member contributing to various roles from product development to logistics and finances. Gabe Bordi explained the intricate creation process, detailing the precision needed in measuring ingredients.
Preston Pyle emphasizes the potential for growth, noting the benefits of attracting attention from festival-goers who may share their experience with others. The Bedford County Chamber’s Young Entrepreneur’s Program has supported their journey, with plans to eventually expand into clothing alongside their fragrance line.
