District Attorney Brendon Adams expressed gratitude to the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors for providing a new office space within the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. He stated that the new space meets all the requirements for his staff as they complete their move from Pike County.
Adams noted that the final steps involve setting up computers, after which he plans to invite the board for a tour of the new facility. He also reminded the board about his candidacy for the new Circuit Court judge seat for District 14, with elections scheduled for November.
Having been with the DA’s office since 2004—including roles from intern to prosecutor—Adams was elected District Attorney in 2023. He emphasized his commitment to fairness in his prosecutorial duties and hopes to create a welcoming environment in Lincoln County for future generations.
In addition, attorneys Albert Turnage and Matt Kitchens are also competing for the open District 14 seat in the upcoming election.
