Exciting Changes Coming to Downtown Manistee
Manistee County, Mich. – Major enhancements are on the way for downtown Manistee, courtesy of the Manistee County Community Foundation. The foundation is expanding its property to create additional seating, recreational areas, and space for community events near the Municipal Marina Park and the accessible riverwalk ramps.
Key upgrades to include:
- A revitalized, iconic fountain featuring:
- A larger pool
- Eight new bubblers
- Color-changing LED lights
This project has been made possible thanks to contributions from the Minger Family Endowment Fund and various community foundation donors. The anticipated completion date for the work is by the end of November, bringing fresh vibrancy to downtown Manistee.
