The fourth annual Italian Heritage Day at the Rochester Public Market celebrated Italian culture with classic cuisine, live entertainment, and language lessons from students at RIT and Nazareth College. Attendees had the chance to connect with their heritage and community.
The event included a new speaker series on Italian American history and migration, children’s activities, and opportunities to share family stories with local archivists. Gi Davis, an RIT student, expressed appreciation for practicing Italian with attendees and connecting with her community.
