The Mobile Police Department has referred the case concerning All Weather Roofing & Construction and Window Depot USA of Mobile to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office. This follows an investigation into the businesses after numerous customers reported paying for services that were never delivered.
In July, the Public Safety Director indicated that over 100 criminal cases were under investigation. Subsequently, the Mobile City Council unanimously revoked the business license for All Weather Roofing, while the license for Window Depot had expired. Additionally, the Alabama Home Builder Licensure Board suspended licenses for both companies.
In September, Window Depot USA filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, declaring over $1.3 million in liabilities with no reported assets. As of now, no charges have been filed against the business owners, Ward and Theresa Fendley, but updates will follow as the situation develops.
