Ed Sheeran’s shows at Gillette Stadium have been called off.

Ed Sheeran has canceled his scheduled concerts this weekend at Gillette Stadium due to severe weather warnings related to an impending nor’easter. The decision was made for the safety of fans and staff, and ticket refunds will be available. This cancellation adds to the turmoil around Sheeran’s Loop tour, which has faced scrutiny over former opening act Macklemore’s pro-Palestinian remarks. Macklemore was dismissed from the tour after controversy arose, prompting other supporting acts to leave in solidarity. Meanwhile, Macklemore has announced his upcoming “Free Palestine” tour, with proceeds aimed at supporting Palestinian charities. Sheeran is set to perform next on October 3 in Atlanta.
