Independence Square Christmas Market to Support Local Vendors
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. — Vendors who lost business at the recent SantaCaliGon festival due to storms will have a new opportunity at the upcoming Independence Square Christmas Market on Saturday, November 14, from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. This event, organized by the Independence Chamber of Commerce, Independence Square Association, and Visit Independence, will feature various vendors along with local businesses, offering shoppers a chance to embrace the holiday spirit.
Vendor Support Initiative
Priority space will be available at no cost for SantaCaliGon vendors affected by the inclement weather, as a means of support for their losses. Allison Calvin, executive director of Visit Independence, emphasized the importance of community support: “We want to show that Independence Square and its residents love and support the vendors through the holiday season.”
Vendor Registration
SantaCaliGon vendors should have already received details on how to reserve their space. Non-SantaCaliGon vendors can join a waitlist for potential openings. Early indications show that several vendors are eager to participate in this new holiday market.
