12-Year-Old Animator Creates Commercial for PMR Automotive

MARION, Ill. — PMR Automotive has tapped 12-year-old Noah Bodin from North Carolina to produce a stop-motion animation commercial, showcasing both the business’s innovative spirit and the young artist’s creativity.

Noah, who runs the business account “Snap Frame Motion,” has gained thousands of followers and millions of views for his stop-motion videos. He began his journey last year, and his work quickly gained traction after engaging in TikTok trends.

“I think one of the first videos I made was part of a TikTok trend, and after that, my following skyrocketed,” Noah shared.

His initial successes led other businesses to collaborate with him, including PMR Automotive. Nicole Miskelley, the general manager of PMR, said she discovered Noah through social media and decided to reach out to him, acknowledging her company’s focus on supporting young entrepreneurs.

Noah was elated when he received his first business inquiry. “When my mom first told me, I was jumping up and down because no business had ever reached out to me before,” he recalled.

For PMR, Noah crafted a commercial with Lego characters and various creative materials, including cotton and cardboard. One scene depicts a Lego character whose tire pops off, leading him to call PMR for assistance.

“The freedom they give me is incredible,” Noah remarked. “I use my imagination, and they provide a lot of positive feedback.”

He conducts research on companies that approach him, creating multiple ad versions for client feedback before finalizing the project. Miskelley praised Noah’s rapid improvement, noting that he has significantly advanced in just six months.

The creative process often takes Noah more time than he estimates; what he refers to as “Noah time” can stretch from an hour to several hours.

Noah’s father, Peter, expressed pride over his son’s dedication, emphasizing the time and effort Noah invests in his passion.

The commercial has achieved 2.6 million views on TikTok, leading to increased visibility for PMR. Miskelley reported positive community response, with locals discovering the brand through the ad.

Ultimately, Miskelley believes the collaboration’s greatest impact is in nurturing Noah’s passion. She anticipates future projects with him, noting that any earnings Noah makes will be reinvested into his equipment upgrades.

“Noah’s journey has made me really proud of myself, and I’m really happy,” he concluded.
