Ohio State University (OSU) is collaborating with Google to create a dedicated space in the university’s Innovation District on the west campus. This partnership aligns with OSU’s AI fluency initiative, ensuring that all students are equipped to understand and utilize AI tools in their studies.
As part of the collaboration, students will gain access to Google’s DeepMind artificial intelligence research laboratory, offering resources like personalized AI assistants. Additionally, a unique research ambassador internship program will be established through Google Public Sector, focusing on partnerships with government and educational institutions.
OSU describes this collaboration as a significant foundational partnership, highlighting it as one of the largest between Google and a U.S. university. The university plans to provide more information about the space later this fall.
