Selena Gomez has sold her Encino home for $5.399 million, just four months after listing it. She originally bought the six-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom property for $4.89 million in 2020. The sale comes shortly after she and her husband, Benny Blanco, purchased a $35 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
The Encino estate, spanning nearly 11,500 square feet, was described as a “private celebrity compound” and features notable architecture and extensive renovations. Before Gomez, the property was owned by music legend Tom Petty, who built it in 1989.
In addition to the spacious main residence, the home boasts a lower level with a wine cellar, gym, and vocal booth—likely part of Petty’s original recording studio. The exterior includes luxurious entertaining spaces, a pool, spa, and a cabana.
With multiple living spaces and a grand kitchen featuring marble countertops, the property reflects an elegant lifestyle, making it a fitting residence for Gomez during her single years. However, the couple’s recent move to a larger Beverly Hills home seems to indicate they are ready for this new chapter together.
