Vehicle containing deceased individual discovered on Dan Ryan Expressway

A car containing a dead body was discovered on the Dan Ryan Expressway early Sunday morning. Illinois State Police responded to the scene around 5:12 a.m. in the outbound lanes at 35th Street, near Rate Field. Authorities are currently conducting a death investigation but have stated that there is no danger to the public. Further information has not been released.
