Three individuals have been arrested following a tragic incident in which a car crashed into a group of cyclists, resulting in the deaths of two riders. Kent Police reported that the collision occurred around 07:50 BST on Sunday on Sole Street in Cobham, near Gravesend.
The victims, a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s, were pronounced dead at the scene. The next of kin have been notified. A third cyclist was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The suspects—a 20-year-old man, a 21-year-old man, and a 19-year-old woman—were arrested on charges related to dangerous driving and assisting an offender.
The road has been closed for an ongoing investigation, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information about the incident or the vehicles involved to come forward.
