Hong Kong’s first astronaut, Lai Ka-ying, along with her Shenzhou-23 crew members, will conduct a live educational lecture from space for students and teachers in Hong Kong and Macau. The Hong Kong government announced plans for these broadcasts, which will include expert lectures, in-orbit demonstrations, and Q&A sessions to illustrate the space environment.
The Education Bureau plans to facilitate live broadcasts for primary and secondary students, while a delegation from Macau is expected to attend the event in person. Additionally, the session will be streamed online through the Information Services Department’s website and local television stations. This initiative aims to enhance students’ understanding of aerospace science and spark their interest in the field.
