Greystar Partners with BMW at Mid85 Logistics Park
Greystar, a leader in rental housing and property management, has secured a long-term lease with BMW North America for a cross-dock logistics facility at Mid85 in Wellford, South Carolina. This deal marks a significant milestone for both Mid85 and Greystar’s expanding logistics portfolio, which includes 12 million square feet across 50 buildings in 34 markets.
Tanner Hicklin, Greystar’s managing director, expressed gratitude for the partnership, emphasizing BMW’s strong influence on the local economy. The deal was facilitated by Colliers International, with representatives Connor Faught, John Montgomery, and Dillon Swayngim collaborating in the transaction.
Mid85, spanning approximately 2 million square feet, is one of Greystar’s largest logistics developments. Its strategic location along the I-85 corridor enhances access to the Upstate’s manufacturing and transportation networks, just 1.5 miles from I-85 and near crucial infrastructures like Inland Port Greer.
This long-term commitment from BMW underscores the automaker’s trust and investment in the region, further stimulating economic growth and development.
