Beomgyu Tops Poll as Most Desired Travel Companion
Tomorrow x Together’s Beomgyu has emerged as the top choice among international fans for K-pop idols they most want to travel with, according to a poll conducted by fan-voting platform Picnic.

The poll, which ran from August 5 to 19, saw Beomgyu receiving 93,634 votes, significantly outpacing BTS’s Jungkook in second place with 49,400 votes, and Ateez’s San close behind with 48,856 votes.
Reasons for Popularity
Picnic attributes Beomgyu’s popularity to his engaging presence in travel and leisure videos featured on Tomorrow x Together’s YouTube channel. These videos showcase the group enjoying camping, casual picnics, and more, allowing viewers to connect with the idols on a personal level.
The videos portray a natural and friendly atmosphere, giving fans the feeling of watching close friends spend time together.
Impact on Tourism
According to a Picnic spokesperson, K-pop artists play a significant role in promoting tourism in Korea. They noted that the lifestyle and experiences shared by idols through social media and entertainment programs can spark interest in Korean culture, food, and travel destinations.
