Middle Michigan Downtown Pitch 2026
MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (WNEM) – The Middle Michigan Development Corporation is inviting local businesses and entrepreneurs to participate in the 2026 Middle Michigan Downtown Pitch.
The event aims to celebrate local enterprises, encourage investment, and provide entrepreneurs with the chance to transform their ideas into reality.
Key Details:
- Application Deadline: September 30, 2026
- Event Date: Community Pitch Night in December at Ideal Theatre, Clare
- Eligibility: Businesses from Clare, Isabella, and Osceola counties are eligible if they are within a downtown district, Downtown Development Authority district, or commercial corridor. Non-traditional downtowns are also considered.
Kati Mora, president and CEO of Middle Michigan Development Corporation, stated, “This event is about putting resources directly into the hands of the people who are building our communities every day.”
Prizes and Community Involvement
Businesses in the competition have a chance to win over $10,000 to help launch their ideas. Attendees at the Community Pitch Night will have the chance to donate to their preferred business pitches.
