MILWAUKEE — The renowned streetwear brand from Milwaukee, Unfinished Legacy, has embarked on an exciting new venture by launching a coffee shop on the city’s East Side.
Blue Hour Coffee, located at 2410 N. Murray Ave., held its soft opening on May 16th and 17th. Despite being labeled a ‘soft’ opening, the café quickly filled with eager customers from the moment it opened its doors.
“We’re just young dreamers, aiming to contribute something meaningful to the Milwaukee community and culture,” shared Brema Brema, the founder of both Unfinished Legacy and Blue Hour Coffee.

One of Blue Hour Coffee’s standout features is its matcha drinks, which proved to be so popular that they ran out on the very first day.
“When you walk into Blue Hour, I hope the ambiance resonates with you—from the music to the curated artwork, to the overall design—it’s all very intentional,” Brema explained.
Although closely related to the Unfinished Legacy brand, Brema emphasizes that the café aims to carve out its own unique identity.
“We envisioned a third space where our friends and family can relax and enjoy coffee in a chill environment. It embodies that friendly Milwaukee energy while also presenting an aspirational quality,” Brema said.

The name “Blue Hour” refers to that tranquil time of day right before sunrise and right after sunset, a period marked by calmness and serenity.
Unfinished Legacy has long championed Milwaukee’s spirit, collaborating with the Brewers, the Bucks, and Summerfest. Now, Blue Hour serves as another means to give back to the community.
“This venue truly provides a communal atmosphere where you can park your car, spend a few hours, and connect with others,” Brema noted.
The coffee served at Blue Hour comes from Sugar Leaf, another Milwaukee-based company. The menu will change with the seasons, and a lounge area is planned to open in the back.
Blue Hour Coffee operates seven days a week: from 7 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and 8 AM to 8 PM on weekends. Additionally, it serves as the meeting point for a Milwaukee running club every Sunday at 8 AM, welcoming participants of all running and walking abilities.
