The BYD Fang Cheng Bao Ti 9 is a new full-size plug-in hybrid SUV, measuring 5.3 meters. It features a 66.5 kWh battery and a six-seat cabin. The vehicle recently showcased a new body color named “Meteorite Black,” which is noted to be the most subdued option among various vibrant colors planned for release.
Fang Cheng Bao is a brand under BYD tailored for the Chinese market, with its vehicles also marketed internationally under the BYD and Denza brands. The Ti 9 is expected to launch in China in Q4 2026 and may later be available globally as the BYD Ti 9.
With significant dimensions (5270 mm length, 1999 mm width, 1850 mm height) and a 3130 mm wheelbase, it is designed for family use. The SUV boasts a striking 30-inch floating screen, head-up display, and an advanced 1.5-liter turbo ICE complimented by two electric motors, delivering a combined 400 kW (536 hp). It supports rapid charging, allowing a charge from 10% to 97% in just nine minutes and offers a combined range of 2,300 km.
