WonderWorks toy store in Mount Pleasant has expanded its space from 3,500 to 6,000 square feet at the Belle Hall Shopping Center. This expansion allows for more toys, games, and hands-on experiences, emphasizing customer engagement. Owner Elizabeth Royall noted the store’s commitment to staying trendy by listening to customer feedback.
The store, which previously moved into larger spaces over its 36-year history, added interactive features, including a dedicated air-tube area by Fat Brain Toy and activity centers by Melissa & Doug, designed to enhance play and exploration.
With the additional space, WonderWorks can grow its book, science, and LEGO sections, and host more events throughout the year. They celebrated their grand reopening event, which included toy testing, raffles, and fundraising for a local children’s hospital, showcasing the store’s dedication to community support.
Next, WonderWorks will hold its annual Winter Wonderland event on December 4.
