Redwire Corporation Partners with Axiom Space to Supply Roll-Out Solar Array Wings for Second Space Station Module
ANTALYA, Turkey & Jacksonville, Fla., October 05, 2026 – Redwire Corporation (NYSE: RDW), a leader in space and defense technology solutions, has announced a contract with Axiom Space to develop and deliver two Roll-Out Solar Array (ROSA) wings for Axiom Station’s second space station module.
As previously announced, Redwire is also constructing ROSA wings for Axiom Space’s first space station module. Mike Gold, President of Redwire Space, expressed enthusiasm for this opportunity, citing ROSA’s proven track record supporting the International Space Station (ISS) as the ideal system for Axiom’s needs.
Axiom Station aims to be a permanent commercial platform in low-Earth orbit (LEO) where nations can conduct microgravity research and develop products to return to Earth. Dr. Jonathan Cirtain, CEO of Axiom Space, added that Redwire’s technology is essential for establishing a sustainable commercial presence in LEO.
The first module is undergoing final assembly in Turin, Italy, and is set to launch in 2028, with the second module following within a year. Together, these modules will support a four-crew operational space station.
