Car Falls Off Third Floor of Parking Garage in Coeur d’Alene

COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho – A car drove off the third floor of a parking garage on Friday afternoon, leading to an emergency response at the scene.
A journalist from NonStop Local witnessed a white car overturned next to the garage, with a crowd gathered to assist. The incident caused some damage to the side of the parking structure.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department, the car was observed to have spun over after going through the third level. There were two individuals in the vehicle; initial reports indicated one might have sustained minor injuries. Both were later taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Fire crews worked to extricate the car from a tree and managed the scene, requesting that bystanders keep a safe distance. The department is in the process of clearing up any property damage and has developed a plan for securing the area in collaboration with the resort.
