Jessica Martin Appointed Executive Director of Visit Manchester, NH
Visit Manchester, a new destination marketing organization (DMO) aimed at promoting Manchester as a vibrant location for visitors, has announced Jessica Martin as its inaugural Executive Director. The organization will focus on showcasing local attractions, supporting businesses, and enhancing the community’s appeal as a tourist destination.
Under Martin’s leadership, Visit Manchester aims to elevate awareness about the city’s unique offerings and create year-round opportunities for exploration. The DMO will utilize strategic marketing, tourism promotion, public relations, and signature events to bolster local economic activity and narrate Manchester’s evolving story.
“There are so many great things happening in Manchester that people simply don’t know about,” Martin stated. “We want to tell those stories and help people discover what makes Manchester unique.”
A Maine native, Martin moved to Manchester after earning her business degree from Southern New Hampshire University. With over a decade of experience in community engagement, including her previous role as Executive Director of Intown Concord during the COVID-19 pandemic, she has demonstrated her commitment to supporting local businesses and revitalizing community events.
Joseph Wichert, Chair of Visit Manchester, praised Martin’s deep understanding of community partnerships and her extensive experience as vital assets for the organization.
Visit Manchester will introduce itself officially at its Launch Party on September 30 at 4:30 PM at the REX Theatre. Tickets can be purchased via the Palace Theatre.
