Jonathan Taylor Thomas apprehended for reportedly resisting law enforcement.

Jonathan Taylor Thomas, the former teen heartthrob from Home Improvement, was briefly detained after a night out. The 45-year-old actor’s troubles began with a traffic stop in Westlake Village, where he allegedly got unruly and exited the vehicle despite police instructions.

After being taken to the Malibu/Lost Hills station, he was booked on a felony-level charge with a temporary bail set at $0. However, he was released on Tuesday, and no formal charges were filed, meaning the incident won’t appear on his record.

Thomas, known for his role as Randy Taylor on Home Improvement and as the voice of Simba in The Lion King, stepped back from acting in the early 2000s to pursue education at prestigious institutions like Harvard and Columbia. He expressed a desire for a break from fame, stating, “I wanted to go to school, to travel and have a bit of a break.”
