McLaren has introduced new lettering for its branding while keeping its iconic Speedmark logo, established in 1997. The brand will maintain its signature Papaya color, which has been a staple of its racing cars since the MCL32 debuted in 2017.
This logo update aligns with McLaren’s goal to merge its rich heritage with future innovations, highlighted by the recent reveal of the McL 6GT—a modern take on the historical M6GT that launched McLaren’s road car journey in the late 1960s. The new branding will be utilized across both McLaren Racing and Automotive divisions.
Following a successful season in Formula 1, McLaren’s strategic focus includes expanding into the World Endurance Championship with its Hypercar. Additionally, a £500 million investment will bolster its UK manufacturing and engineering capabilities, supporting both its renowned two-seater models and the introduction of an SUV to compete with luxury rivals like the Lamborghini Urus and Ferrari Purosangue.
