K-pop Group ifeye Performs at Korean Culture Festival in Stockholm

On August 22, K-pop group ifeye took the stage in Stockholm, Sweden, during the Korean Culture Festival held at Kungstradgarden. The group entertained approximately 30,000 attendees with a dynamic 45-minute performance featuring 10 songs, as reported by the Korea Herald.

Festival Highlights

The festival, organized by Koreanskt Kulturcenter, ran from noon to 6:00 p.m. and hosted various activities, including traditional Korean games, taekwondo demonstrations, K-pop dance performances, and stalls offering a range of Korean goods. Notably, Kungstradgarden has a maximum capacity of 7,000 visitors at any given time.

Dahye Choi, the creative director from Hitfire Production, expressed delight about the enthusiasm of the audience, noting that K-pop fan culture encourages active participation similar to concerts in Seoul. The crowd included both longtime fans and newcomers, with many displaying handmade posters and fan merchandise.

Performance Details

During their set, ifeye delivered a mix of original songs like “Lover Boy” and “Nerdy,” along with covers of popular tracks such as Blackpink’s “As If It’s Your Last” and BTS’s “Dope.” “Lover Boy” was co-written by Julie Yu.

While in Stockholm, the group engaged in various activities, including filming video content from a rooftop, visiting Spotify’s headquarters, and participating in songwriting sessions with industry professionals like Julie Yu and Erik Lidbom.

Earlier in their trip, ifeye performed at a similar festival in Gothenburg, battling heavy rainfall during the concert.
