Hovatter’s Wildlife Zoo recently hosted its Roar & Explore vendor show, which connected local businesses with community members for a day filled with shopping, family fun, and wildlife encounters. The event showcased unique products from local vendors, all while allowing visitors to explore the zoo and its animal exhibits.
Zoo staff emphasized that the event not only supports local vendors but also attracts new visitors to the family-owned zoo. Lily Dakin from the zoo highlighted the importance of promoting small businesses, noting that it helps raise awareness of local offerings.
The Roar & Explore event is part of the zoo’s ongoing efforts to bolster community engagement and create enjoyable experiences for families. Vendors were available until closing, giving guests plenty of opportunities to shop and explore.
