The Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts (LSMSA) welcomed 134 new students during its 44th annual Matriculation Ceremony on September 4. The incoming class consists of 65 sophomores, 68 juniors, and one senior, representing 56% of the state’s parishes.
Executive Director Dr. Jason Anderson addressed the new students and their families, emphasizing the potential for personal growth during their time at the school. He encouraged students to recognize that their abilities can develop over time, urging them to embrace learning and leadership opportunities.
