Hyundai Motor Company has announced a multi-year partnership as the Official Automotive Partner of the UEFA Champions League, commencing in the 2026/27 season and running until the end of the 2030/31 season. This collaboration aims to strengthen Hyundai’s presence among European football fans and to showcase its mobility innovations.
Having been involved in football for nearly 30 years, Hyundai sees this partnership as an opportunity to connect with fans across different cultures. The UEFA Champions League is viewed as a premier platform for engaging passionate European supporters.
José Muñoz, CEO of Hyundai, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, recognizing football’s unique ability to unite diverse audiences. He highlighted the potential for Hyundai to showcase its vehicles, including the all-electric IONIQ 3, which will lead their lineup during the Champions League.
