FORT WAYNE – Science Central is reimagining its fundraising events with Mixology 2026, an immersive evening that combines cocktails, whiskey, science, entertainment, and hands-on experiences.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6.
Previously separate fundraising experiences, Mixology and W2, are now combined for an expanded event, bringing the best of both under one roof while raising funds to support Science Central and its mission to inspire curiosity and learning through hands-on STEAM experiences.
As part of this new event, guests can purchase a special W2 ticket for access to a new Whiskey Lounge, featuring whiskey tastings and discussions on the history and heritage of whiskey. All Mixology guests will also have designated times for whiskey tastings and presentations on the museum floor.
Guests can explore the museum while enjoying food, drinks, music, interactive science activities, games, and opportunities to win prizes. The evening will include stories from community members, themed photo opportunities, and a photo booth.
A highlight of the night will be a bartending competition, where participants can watch bartenders go head-to-head. Guests are encouraged to participate in the “Duds Duel” costume contest, arriving in their best Western-inspired attire.
Ticket Options
Guests can choose from two elevated ticket experiences:
- VIP tickets: Early access to the museum and exclusive access to a special lounge in Science on a Sphere.
- W2 tickets: All VIP benefits plus exclusive access to the Whiskey Lounge and its tastings.
The reimagined Mixology event combines the spirit of two Science Central fundraising events into one, creating more opportunities for guests to enjoy the museum, connect with the community, and support Science Central.
Whether attendees are interested in cocktails, whiskey, competition, costumes, science, or just a fun night out, Mixology 2026 promises an evening of exploration with a Western twist.
