Claims Indicate Insomniac’s Venom Game Remains in Development

Insomniac Games is reportedly continuing work on an unannounced Marvel’s Venom game, as stated by insider NateTheHate. This follows the introduction of Venom in Insomniac’s second Spider-Man game, where the character diverges from the typical comic portrayal. Instead of Eddie Brock, Harry Osborn becomes Venom due to the Symbiote serving as a cure for his ailment.

Despite conflicting reports regarding the game’s status, particularly after the passing of Tony Todd, who voiced Venom, NateTheHate has confirmed that development is ongoing. Upcoming projects for Insomniac also include a Wolverine game set for release soon.

Fans remain hopeful for updates on the potential Venom title and its role within the Insomniac universe, especially with plans for a Spider-Man 3 on the horizon. More updates are expected as news unfolds.
