Multiple cats discovered deceased, pets left behind at Alabama grooming facility: authorities

An Alabama woman, Brandi Leann Tyrrell, has been arrested after finding several cats dead and other abandoned animals inside her grooming business, JoJo’s LaundroMutt, in Midland City. Authorities were alerted by complaints of a strong odor from nearby businesses. Animal control officers discovered deceased cats and other live animals that had been neglected for about a month. The business had been without utility service since June, and Tyrrell had not been seen for three weeks. She faces multiple charges, including animal cruelty.
