The incident occurred on August 23, and deputies found the victim injured with severe cuts to their fingers, left elbow, and right forearm, potentially leading to permanent disfigurement. The victim was taken to a hospital, and the two men were acquaintances.
The suspect later turned himself in at the sheriff’s station and was booked on charges including assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, and mayhem. The investigation is ongoing.
