Renesas Electronics has recently joined the Autoware Foundation, marking a significant transition in the automotive industry’s approach to Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) software. By becoming a member at the highest tier, Renesas will offer the foundation’s open-source AI driving stack on its R-Car system-on-chip (SoC) platforms, which are designed for driver assistance and autonomous driving.
