Karen Canfell: The Importance of Teamwork and Organization in Space Exploration and Worldwide Cancer Care

Karen Canfell, the Lead of The Cancer Elimination Collaboration (CEC) at the Sydney School of Public Health, University of Sydney, recently shared an exciting announcement on LinkedIn.

She announced the launch of a new lunchtime seminar series featuring esteemed international speakers, including Graham Colditz and Ophira Ginsburg.

Details of the Seminar:

  • When: Kicking off Monday, September 7th, from 12:30 PM to 1-2 PM AEST.
  • Where: Level 5 Auditorium, Moore College, 1 King St Newtown, University of Sydney.
  • Format: Available both online and in-person.
  • Lunch: Provided for all attendees.

The opening seminar will be presented by Dr. Ellen Baker from the EPICC partner, the UT MD Anderson global oncology group. Dr. Baker, a former NASA astronaut, will discuss the importance of collaboration and coordination in both space flight and global oncology.
