A man named Ross Pierce, 41, from Watertown, has been arrested for allegedly breaking into The Morning Ritual doughnut shop twice. The first break-in occurred at 2:20 a.m. on June 9, where surveillance footage reportedly showed Pierce tampering with a doorknob and using a T-shirt to disguise himself before entering the shop.
The following day, around 2 a.m., Pierce allegedly returned with two accomplices, both of whom wore masks and hats. They entered the shop while one man acted as a lookout. The trio reportedly left with a full garbage bag and several backpacks containing stolen goods, including $50 in cash and power tools.
Pierce has been charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny, and he is currently being held without bail in the Jefferson County jail.
