Big Top Xtreme Opening Ceremony
After months of planning, Pine Bluff’s Big Top Xtreme entertainment complex is set to open with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, October 14th at 10 a.m. The complex, located at 2100 East Harding Avenue, offers a variety of family-friendly attractions, including:
- Electric go-karts
- Miniature golf
- Paintball
- Batting cages
- Arcade games
In addition, it features a second location of Big Banjo Pizza.
Revitalization Project
This project repurposes a former hotel property into a dynamic entertainment destination aimed at serving local families and drawing visitors from across Southeast Arkansas. It also revives the legacy of the original Big Top Pizza, a beloved spot for families in the area, while introducing modern attractions.
Collaborative Efforts
The development involved partnerships with the Pine Bluff Urban Renewal Agency and The Generator, headed by CEO Ryan Watley, alongside the Ratliff family’s contribution to bringing Big Banjo Pizza to the complex.
Timeline of Development
Preparations have unfolded over the year, with Big Banjo Pizza opening its new location in July, setting the stage for other attractions. By late August, equipment deliveries, including electric go-karts in September, marked significant progress toward opening.
Employment Opportunities
Hiring efforts continued for management and crew positions, advertised through the city’s employment system.
Community Introduction
The ribbon-cutting on Wednesday will celebrate the transformation from concept to reality. It will also provide a chance to acknowledge the efforts in bringing Big Top Xtreme to life and introducing this new entertainment hub to Pine Bluff residents.
