2027 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Eliminate S Trim

The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid is seeing a price increase for the 2027 model year, with the removal of its base S trim resulting in a $1,620 hike. The new entry-level SE trim starts at $31,415, compared to the previous base model, which began at $29,795.

Although the SE trim has only increased by $300 over last year’s price, the overall hike may disappoint budget-conscious shoppers, especially as there are no significant changes for 2027. The competitive prices still position the Corolla Cross Hybrid nicely against rivals in the subcompact SUV segment, being more affordable than the Subaru Crosstrek Sport Hybrid but pricier than the Kia Niro Hybrid.

The old S trim offered good value, with features like an eight-inch touchscreen, 17-inch alloy wheels, and LED lighting. With the discontinuation of this trim, potential buyers might find fewer options within this price range in an evolving market with high fuel prices.
