Tacoma, Washington – Bombing Incident at Bail Bonds Business

Tacoma police are investigating a bombing that occurred on Monday evening at Bad Boys Bail Bonds on Pacific Avenue. The explosion shattered the front door, leaving behind scorched marks and damage to the building.

Eyewitness accounts revealed that several people were present in the business at the time, including 13-year-old Golden Baines, who described the moment he saw the suspect. Baines, whose grandmother works at the bond company, initially thought the suspect was lighting a firework before the explosion occurred. He recalled feeling the shockwave and hearing “just a really loud boom.”

Although no injuries were reported, residents felt the blast from several blocks away. Derek Gordon, who was inside his apartment, stated that the explosion caused his building to shake, prompting him to investigate the scene.

Baines’ grandmother provided images of the suspect, described as wearing a red beanie and a dark striped t-shirt. Authorities are currently seeking information regarding the incident, eyeing potential felony charges.

“Our town is facing serious issues with violence,” Gordon expressed, highlighting the urgency for action following the bombing. Tacoma police urge anyone with information to come forward.
