Giannis Antetokounmpo is embracing his new life in Miami, celebrating his arrival at the trendy restaurant Gekko in Brickell. The July evening was marked by a dinner with his wife, Mariah Riddlesprigger, hospitality mogul David Grutman, and teammate Tim Hardaway Jr. The group indulged in upscale Asian dishes, including an $85 ribeye, and enjoyed mocktails from IM-8, a supplement brand co-owned by David Beckham and Danny Yeung. For dessert, they celebrated with an eight-tiered “Welcome to Miami” cake featuring basketballs and images of the “Greek Freak.”
After the festivities, Antetokounmpo’s travel plans were convenient, given he recently purchased a mansion in Pinecrest for $13.5 million.
