Colombia Avocado Board at IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show

Location: Orlando, FL
Booth: #3585

The Colombia Avocado Board (CAB) is excited to showcase the rich culture, flavors, and hospitality of Colombia at the upcoming International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show this October. Visitors are encouraged to experience an immersive journey that highlights the story of Avocados from Colombia, fostering connections and conversations.

Quote from Manuel Michel, Managing Director of CAB:

“We wanted our booth to feel like more than a meeting space. We want it to feel like stepping into Colombia. From the culture and flavors to the people behind the fruit. We want attendees to experience the warmth and hospitality of Colombia while having meaningful conversations about how we can work together.”

This marks CAB’s fifth consecutive year at the IFPA Global Show, with a booth design that emphasizes their commitment to understanding the unique needs of retailers. CAB aims to enhance collaboration by tailoring avocado programs to fit varied retail strategies and consumer bases.

Key Initiatives:

  • CAB is developing a Retail Dietitian Toolkit that serves as a resource for retailers and dietitians, promoting consumer engagement and creative avocado usage.
  • The toolkit will be available on the CAB website, facilitating easy access for retailers to educate consumers on avocados.

Quote from Manuel Michel:

“Supporting our partners means thinking beyond getting fruit onto the shelf. We want to provide resources that retailers and dietitians can easily put to work.”

Visitors to Booth #3585 can also enjoy Colombian coffee, providing a refreshing stop to recharge and engage with the CAB team. A special surprise awaits those who visit between 4–5 p.m.

CAB Highlights at IFPA:

  • Debut of a new campaign video.
  • Annual meeting for members to share updates and elect the board for the 2026–2027 term.

Invitation to Attend:
IFPA Global attendees are welcomed to visit the CAB booth to meet the team, enjoy Colombian coffee, and explore collaboration opportunities.
