Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) has partnered with the Douglas County School District to support the Auto Jobs program, providing scholarships, paid internships, and hands-on training for local high school students aspiring to be automotive technicians. This initiative involves seven CBA locations contributing $200 monthly, totaling $16,800 annually in scholarships.
Each participating shop will offer a paid internship to a top-performing student and supply them with a Technician Starter Tool Set upon completion. The program aims to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience, ensuring students are well-equipped for their future careers. Moreover, CBA owners and technicians will engage with students through on-site training, coaching, and career fairs.
The partnership responds to the growing demand for skilled auto technicians and emphasizes the importance of investing in local talent to strengthen the workforce. This collaboration highlights the community’s commitment to empowering students and creating meaningful career pathways. For more information, visit CBA’s website.
