A tragic car crash near Indian Lake in the Adirondacks on October 5, 2026, left a 64-year-old woman, Kathleen Henzler, dead. She was traveling with her husband, David, when their vehicle was struck head-on by a yellow Ferrari driven by Eric Zuccarelli, who was with a passenger, Jin Song, both from New Jersey. The reasons for the Ferrari crossing into oncoming traffic are still under investigation.
Emergency responders were unable to save Kathleen, but David Henzler, Zuccarelli, and Song were taken to Glens Falls Hospital and are in stable condition. That same day, a rally of supercars was taking place, raising questions about whether the Ferrari was part of this event, but state police have not confirmed any connection.
