The Bridge X event, celebrating its tenth anniversary, showcased exquisite automobiles at the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit. Attendees experienced rare models from prestigious collections without the pressure of competition or awards, allowing the vehicles to shine in their own right.
Notable features included a “Lines of Motion” installation by Mercedes-Benz, marking the brand’s 140th anniversary, with a blend of historic and contemporary vehicles. Sixteen Ferrari Testarossas and an array of Mercedes-Benz models highlighted the diversity of automotive history, while Volvo debuted its all-electric EX60 amidst a performance by pianist Chloe Flower.
Additional displays featured bespoke classic Land Rover Defenders, a restored Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf, and even a glimpse into future mobility with a full-scale model of Joby Aviation’s electric aircraft. A “drive-in movie theater” theme also entertained guests, showcasing classic car films narrated by Robert Rubin.
The legacy of the venue was honored, preserving the rich history of the original race circuit and its transformation into The Bridge golf club, emphasizing the significance of automotive culture intertwined with its storied past.
