Tito’s Cantina in Fort Myers Shuts Down After Three Years of Operation | News

Tito’s Cantina in Cape Coral, Florida, is closing after three years in operation, primarily due to former fighter Tito Ortiz’s absence while he recovers from neck surgery following a boating accident. Ortiz expressed that the closure is hard for him but noted that it allows him more time for family and to coach high school wrestling. Customers appreciated his personal touch, often greeting fans warmly. Long-time supporters, Carla Accettolla and Jeff Olson, returned for the final day, expressing their sadness over the closure. Despite the restaurant shutting down, Ortiz plans to remain in the area, stating, “This is home for me.”
